Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Personal Care Workers to join our team, working in the community to support our elderly customers. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for caring for the elderly and ensuring their wellbeing and daily lifestyle needs are met.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Domestic cleaning and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Assisting with community access, including transport, shopping, and social outings.
  • Providing companionship and building relationships with our elderly customers.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of Certificate 3 in Aged Care/Individual Support or Home and Community Care or Cert IV Disability, Bach/Dip of Nursing or completed first-year study towards it.
  • Current minimum Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check through Baptcare.
  • Own roadworthy vehicle and valid Driver's Licence to drive in Australia.
  • Your own smartphone (either Android or Apple is fine).
  • Good verbal and written communication and basic computer skills (for rosters, eLearning, etc.).
  • Two doses of Covid-19 vaccine, and willingness to obtain annual booster.
  • Administration of medication training will be highly regarded.
