About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our team at Team Global Express. As an HR Driver, you will be responsible for representing our company in a professional manner while picking up freight from customers and delivering to customers in a consistent and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure freight is securely loaded and unloaded and lifted/transported in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Adhere to scanning and Proof of Delivery procedures and safe and law-abiding driving practices.
  • Manage and collect all consignment paperwork and/or manifests and notes at pickup points.
  • Ensure freight is packaged in a safe and effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Current manual HR license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in driving manual and auto truck.
  • Experience in Tailgate operation advantageous.
  • Experience in pick-up and delivery of general and express freight.
  • Experience with radio communications systems preferable.
  • Experience with Load Restraint Systems & Equipment preferable.
  • Ability to pass pre-checks (medical/background/D&A).
