Lead Engineer Opportunity in Low-Voltage Electrical Design

Talent is seeking an experienced lead engineer to join a growing team focused on low-voltage (LV) electrical engineering design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LV electrical design, excellent technical leadership skills, and experience mentoring a local team of engineers.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, technically sound solutions as a hands-on engineer and trusted team lead. You will work across a range of projects in sectors like infrastructure, transport, energy, and utilities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project timelines, and quality requirements.

You will liaise with stakeholders and clients to shape and refine scopes of work, coordinate closely with interstate managers to support project and team outcomes, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years' experience in LV electrical design (switchboards, power distribution, control panels, etc.)
  • Proven leadership experience or demonstrated mentoring capability
  • Eligible for state-based engineering registration
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and report writing skills
