We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team in understanding the development and prevention of problem behaviour and poor mental health in adolescents and early adults.
This PhD project aims to investigate the core competencies and mechanisms involved in the development and prevention of these issues, with a focus on cultivating social and emotional competencies in schools, communities, and homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesise findings to inform research design and methodology
- Analyse longitudinal data from Australian, US, and international studies to examine the mechanisms and processes of key social and emotional core competencies
- Develop systemic and targeted interventions to improve local and global health
Requirements
- Domestic and international students are eligible for this opportunity
- Candidates must meet Monash University's minimum requirements for admission to a PhD
- Applicants should have a strong academic background in psychology, public health, or a related field
