About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Support Professional to join our team at WISE Employment Ltd. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting participants with their individualised plans and goals, with a focus on capacity building and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support participants with their individualised plans and goals, with a focus on capacity building and community engagement.
  • Engage with participants and support them with their daily needs, physical health, vocational, and employment needs.
  • Identify and utilise relevant resources effectively to support participants.
  • Function as a constructive and collaborative member of a small cohesive team.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working with people with a disability, either in a professional environment or through non-professional means or life experience.
  • A sound understanding of disability and its effect on social relationships, independent living, daily needs, physical health, vocational, and employment needs.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting participants with their individualised plans and goals, with a capacity building focus.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, including written and verbal, as well as negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • A current driver's license and own transport.
