Graphic Designer

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Graphic Designer at Havas Media AG, you will take charge of delivering exceptional graphic design and asset development for a diverse array of digital, social, and campaign-specific initiatives.

Your role will involve collaborating with fellow members of the content and creative teams while also demonstrating the ability to independently manage graphic design assignments.

From initial concept to final execution, you will contribute to the visualization and realization of ideas, whether they are intended for digital platforms or print media.

Staying engaged with contemporary design trends and innovations is essential, as you will be expected to share insights and knowledge with both the content team and the broader agency.

You should excel under tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects. Strong communication skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and create assets with a focus on detail, user experience, and adherence to best practices in graphic design. Uphold and further develop high standards of visual, written, and verbal presentation. Engage in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of innovative concepts, supporting the presentation of these ideas to clients. Advocate for strong creative concepts, both internally and with clients. Approach projects as opportunities for creativity and strive to exceed expectations. Take ownership of all projects, bringing strategic creative insight to ensure client needs are understood and surpassed. Continuously develop skills in digital and social media. Provide input on the direction of specific briefs. Be open to proposing unexpected design solutions. Communicate and negotiate professionally with clients and colleagues. Maintain effective communication with broader agency teams to achieve optimal results and meet all deadlines. Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively, articulating your ideas clearly. Contribute positively to the team by being self-motivated and inspiring others.

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of graphic design experience in an agency setting. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro). A solid foundation in graphic design principles. Ability to perform moderate retouching and color grading of images. Understanding of creative development processes, information architecture, and design systems. Experience adhering to brand guidelines. Strong grasp of technology and software, with a passion for skill development. Capable of managing a variety of projects simultaneously. Ability to remain calm and think clearly under pressure. Self-driven with a commitment to continuous improvement as a designer. Basic animation skills are a plus but not required.
