We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Charterhouse Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and interpreting technical documentation, including detailed engineering drawings, risk assessments, and design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Design: Create, modify, and review detailed mechanical drawings and designs using CAD software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Writing: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, operating instructions, maintenance guides, and safety protocols, translating complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documents.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough reviews of technical drawings and designs to identify potential risks, performing technical risk assessments to evaluate the safety, reliability, and performance of mechanical systems and components.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements and documentation standards, communicating technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Solid Works) and other design tools.
- Strong technical writing skills with experience in creating technical documentation.
- Experience in conducting technical risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
