We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our dedicated kitchen team and contribute to delivering outstanding cuisine.

About the Role

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, ensuring smooth service delivery and supporting other sections as needed.
  • Focus on creativity and passion, driving innovation in menu development and culinary excellence.
  • Maintain adherence to local health, safety, and compliance regulations, with a strong understanding of HACCP principles.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient completion of food orders and menu items, upholding high standards of quality.
  • Participate in all kitchen duties, from cleaning to preparing creative dishes, while promoting a collaborative environment.
  • Maintain precise stock control and rotation, optimizing resource allocation.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and front-of-house staff.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences, meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • The ability to operate under pressure, manage deadlines, and maintain composure in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent grooming and presentation standards, reflecting positively on the hotel's image.
  • A Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is essential, with a Food Safety Supervisor certificate highly desirable.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits such as meal allowances and uniform provisions.
