Childcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the role of Centre Cook assistant at our 124-place family-owned childcare centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation and cooking
  • Prepare meals for infants and toddlers (puree food)
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene standards
  • Implement cleaning schedules in the kitchen
  • Liaise with the Centre Director on stock levels
  • Order weekly produce and groceries
  • Manage inventory control
  • Promote good nutrition through cooking experiences and lessons

**Job Details:**

Part-time hours: 30 per week

Monday to Friday schedule

Covid requirements: Vaccination and mask-wearing when indoors
