At Charles Sturt University, we are seeking a highly skilled Academic to join our team as a Lecturer in Social Work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and research at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contributing to advancing the standing of the Faculty.
About the Role
- We offer a range of degree programs that prepare students for careers in social work and human services in areas such as mental health, ageing, child and family practice, and Australian Indigenous welfare.
- You will have the opportunity to work with an engaged team, designing, delivering, and continually improving high-quality courses and learning experiences for students.
- We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, as well as a demonstrated capacity for research supervision.
Requirements
- A PhD in Social Work and membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or eligibility for AASW membership.
- A record of research and demonstrated capacity for research supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and team work skills to contribute to collaborative processes.
Benefits
- A salary ranging from $102,486 to $121,504 per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
- The opportunity to work in one of five locations: Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Canberra, Port Macquarie, or Wagga Wagga.
