Job Opportunity: Senior Research Contract Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team and take on the challenge of reviewing, drafting, negotiating and recommending competitive and commercial research-related contracts entered into by the university.

The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, managing staff effectively and making commercially sound decisions with a level of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Substantial contract management experience preferably in the higher education sector
  • Achieving contractual outcomes closely aligned with corporate and strategic frameworks
  • Understanding the role of research and its importance to universities
  • Commercial acumen, negotiation and contract coordination skills
  • Stakeholder management, project planning and data manipulation
  • Establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships

About the Role:

This full-time position is based at the Melbourne CBD campus with hybrid ways of working. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment that values excellence and innovation.
