Central Specimen Reception Team Leader

Austin Health Pathology seeks a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead the Central Specimen Reception team in Melbourne.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the CSR area to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient processing of all incoming pathology specimens.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant experience in pathology
  • Experience or proven ability to supervise and train staff
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Our Requirements:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supervising all aspects of the work and activities of the CSR staff
  • Ensuring staffing levels are sufficient for the workflow and reporting any problems to the Regional Laboratory Manager
