Warehouse Operations Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for storing and packing goods and materials in accordance with established procedures and regulations.

The successful candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including storage and packing, allocating and retrieving goods, operating computer terminals, performing stock checks, maintaining housekeeping standards, and using material handling equipment. They will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and organizational skills.

The ideal candidate will have a background in warehouse management or a related field, with relevant certifications such as OSH Forklift Operator Certificate. Experience with IMS, RF scanners, and WMS applications is also desirable.

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility across all business days to ensure roster coverage. The physical demands of this role include lifting cartons up to 25 kg.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Storage and packing of goods and materials
  • Allocation and retrieval of goods from specific warehouse areas
  • Operation of computer terminals and material handling equipment
  • Performance of periodical stock checks
  • Maintenance of housekeeping standards in the work environment
  • Use of non-licensed and licensed material handling equipment
  • Dispatching of goods

Requirements:

  • Experience in warehouse operations or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as OSH Forklift Operator Certificate (desirable but not required)
  • Experience with IMS, RF scanners, and WMS applications (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Physical capacity to lift cartons up to 25 kg
