Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fibrous Plasterer to join our team in Launceston. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and securing plasterboard partitions, suspended ceilings, fire-rated systems, acoustic tiles, and composite wall linings in a variety of building projects. Your expertise will ensure high-quality finishes that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install plasterboard partitions and suspended ceilings with precision and care.
  • Plan the layout for plasterboard installation and fit insulation and vapor barriers.
  • Measure, mark, and cut plasterboard; then position and fix panels to walls, ceilings, and battens.
  • Fabricate and install corner beads securely in place.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Follow all relevant safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining is required.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Fibrous Plasterer.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
