Join Our Data Team as a Specialist

About Orange Sky

We are looking for a skilled data specialist to help us drive our mission of connecting communities through meaningful insights. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and analysing large datasets, developing predictive models, and communicating complex findings in an engaging and accessible way.

  • Co-design and manage our central data warehouse to ensure seamless integration of various data sources.

  • Deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions across the organisation.

  • Translate technical information into clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualisations.

  • Lead and support our junior data specialists to develop their skills and expertise.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, track progress, and build decision-ready reporting.

  • Utilise industry-leading tools such as Power BI, SQL, R, Python, and DAX to model, visualise, and share insights.

  • Contribute to data governance, modelling logic, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality throughout our data operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing or building a data warehouse, preferably in a cloud-based environment.

  • Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and at least one programming language (R or Python).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply and effectively.

  • Familiarity with data modelling, analytics, and forecasting techniques.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
