Job Overview

Infinite Aged Care offers a dynamic opportunity for Hospitality Assistants to play a vital role in meeting our residents' daily needs.

Working as part of the Hotel Services team, you will be responsible for a variety of activities including food preparation and service, in room service and ensuring that the dining areas remain clean and ready for service.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, plate and serve amazing food to our residents.
  • Clean kitchen and dining room areas, including all related equipment.
  • Ensure excellent safety awareness – adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation.
  • Make each dining experience unforgettable and enjoyable for our elderly residents.

This role is a physically demanding position whereby you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is essential you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents.

Qualifications and Skills
  • 6 months kitchen experience preferably in the aged care sector.
  • Strong workplace safety awareness, ability to follow set procedures and effective communication skills.
  • Support residents around the dining halls and ensure a hazard-free environment.
  • Ability to problem solve, work with limited supervision and think critically.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Hard Working, flexible with good availability to cover shifts.
  • Bring genuine care and compassion to mealtimes.
