Injection Moulding Technician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join our team in Yatala. This exciting opportunity will see you working with a range of injection moulding machines, including horizontal and vertical machines with a T capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and start up injection moulding activities, including new dies.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance on moulds and machines, and troubleshoot issues with moulding equipment.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly production targets.
  • Organise and plan dies changes with production and moulding supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the moulding process.
  • Maintain moulds and perform preventative maintenance on machines.
  • Ensure spares and consumables for the moulding area are up to date to prevent production stoppages.
  • Ensure safe work practices throughout the moulding area.
  • Identify issues with moulding machinery and plan replacement of machines.
About You:
  • You will have experience with a range of different injection moulding materials.
  • Additional experience working with automated robots is highly sought after.
  • Previous polymer training and experience in plastic injection mould setting is ideal.
  • You will have solid experience as an Injection Moulding Technician.
  • You will be able to work autonomously or under limited supervision.
  • You will hold a forklift and crane operating licence.
