Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist General Medicine to join our team at the Northern Territory Government. As a key member of our General Medicine department, you will be responsible for providing consultant ward service to a General Medical Unit at Royal Darwin Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision of consultant ward service to a General Medical Unit at Royal Darwin Hospital.
- Supervision, teaching and support of junior medical officers (Advanced Trainee, Basic Physician Trainee, Resident Medical Officer, Interns, medical students).
- Attendance at regular Departmental Meetings (GACM Consultant Meeting, Mortality & Morbidity, Journal Club, Radiology Meeting).
Requirements
AHPRA Specialist registration with FRACP in General and Acute Care Medicine. Consideration will be given to applicants with fellowship in another specialty if they can demonstrate proven equivalent skills and experience in General Medicine.
