Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at TechnipFMC. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for supporting the establishment of manufacturing processes, improving process efficiency, and ensuring high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, with a focus on small bore tube welding.
- Collaborate with the global engineering team to troubleshoot production issues, manage quality notifications, and implement procedural updates.
- Review and analyze in-house raw material test reports and supplier reports to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Optimize manufacturing processes and take ownership of the welding process and SSD products.
- Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to ensure raw material requirements are met.
- Review and approve process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Must possess a clear understanding of general math and the ability to read, write, and comprehend English and Hindi.
- Must be well-versed in small bore tube welding processes and familiar with Subsea distribution products.
- Must be familiar with API and ASTM codes, pressure codes, and standards.
- Must have thorough knowledge of Assembly and testing of subsea distribution product lines and measuring and monitoring tools.
- Exposure to shop floor environments is mandatory.
- Must have clear application understanding of heavy-duty hydraulic equipment and knowledge of PLC setup and automation is an advantage.
- Must be aware of industrial safety standards and have working knowledge of SAP roles for a process/manufacturing engineer.
- Sound knowledge of material handling and Assembly & Pressure Testing processes is required.
- Working knowledge of lean implementation, VSMs, and shop floor digitization is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of work experience in industry or relevant work experience of 8 years in industry with diploma.
