About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to join our team at Workskil Australia Ltd. As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors to our site, providing exceptional customer service and support.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your administrative skills to direct inquiries to the appropriate area in a timely manner. You will also provide operational support to your colleagues, working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.

The successful candidate will have strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to balance day-to-day tasks with ease. You will be competent in using the Microsoft suite and have experience taking accurate queries by phone and using a customer relationship management system.

You will also have a professional and friendly demeanor, even when dealing with challenging situations, and be able to maintain a calm approach. Additionally, you will be able to work with culturally or linguistically diverse people, ex-offenders, youth, and disadvantaged groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and stakeholders;
  • Direct inquiries to the appropriate area in a timely manner;
  • Provide operational support to colleagues;
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor in challenging situations;
  • Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team;
  • Use Microsoft suite software to complete tasks efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Demonstrated excellent administration skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Experience in a busy reception or front-of-house role dealing with a wide range of members of the public;
  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional approach in challenging situations;
  • Ability to work with culturally or linguistically diverse people, ex-offenders, youth, and disadvantaged groups.
