Software Development Graduate

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Development Graduate to join our dynamic team.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or soon-to-be graduates with a passion for software development, looking to kickstart their career in the industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the development of software end-to-end, from working with stakeholders on requirements through to owning the ongoing operations of the software that you build at scale.

You will work collaboratively with a global team to tackle new challenges, experimenting and learning from successes and failures along the way.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning the development of software end-to-end.
  • Working with stakeholders on requirements.
  • Ensuring the ongoing operations of the software at scale.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant tertiary institution.
  • Strong object-oriented design and coding skills (C/C++ and/or Java preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform).
  • Knowledge of Perl or other scripting languages a plus.
  • Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
  • Experience in optimization mathematics (linear programming, nonlinear optimization).
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
  • Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
