Compensation Package


A competitive salary, including superannuation paid over and above fixed pay, is part of our attractive compensation package. You can also expect:

Job Responsibilities


You will be responsible for:



  • Origination and execution of M&A mandates with a focus on Consumer, Retail, Healthcare, and General Industrials sectors
  • Deal team lead responsible for driving day-to-day M&A transaction execution processes, including in-depth financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and industry analysis
  • Primary client point of contact on deals, overseeing M&A transaction documentation and internal approvals
  • Lead the development of high-quality marketing presentations and industry analysis for maximum client impact
  • Reviewing and coordinating analysis and work of junior bankers
  • Strong understanding of client needs and market dynamics, supporting generation of new opportunities
  • Participation in marketing meetings, including client presentations and pitches
  • Support senior banker account coverage with a significant opportunity to develop primary coverage responsibilities
  • Train and mentor juniors (graduates, analysts, and associates) to support the development of best-in-class investment banking skill sets
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business, including other IB sector teams, global colleagues, corporate bank, and DCM to drive delivery of Deutsche Bank's broad global platform


Requirements and Qualifications


To succeed in this role, you should have:



  • At least 6 years' track record in origination and execution of Investment Banking (M&A) deals in Consumer, Retail, Healthcare, or General Industrials sectors
  • Experience in private equity transactions (M&A and financing) highly regarded
  • Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask
  • Ability to take initiative with strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of training and supporting the development of junior members in your team

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

$150,000 per annum estimated based on average consumer, retail, healthcare salaries globally.
