Arboriculture Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Arboriculture Worker to join our City Operations department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining all tree assets across reserves, streetscapes, and open space areas.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain all tree assets across reserves, streetscapes, and open space areas
- Undertake reactive pruning of street trees with minimal proactive 'block' pruning
- Undertake tree planting, staking, mulching, watering, and general maintenance of street and reserve trees
- Prune and remove trees to provide high-quality arboriculture maintenance in accordance with Australian Standards in road verges, streetscapes, and reserves
- You will have a passion for maintaining trees to a high standard of arboriculture
- You will be able to undertake manual work
- You will possess good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- You will be dependable and motivated to work as a team
- You will have a high standard of Work, Health, and Safety for you and your colleagues
- You will hold a minimum Class MR driver's licence
- You will have the minimum essential qualifications and/or relevant experience as described within the position description
- Excellent work-life balance with a 76-hour working fortnight over 9 days with a rostered day off
