As a strategic planner, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our communities through informed decisions and effective collaboration.
- We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage strategic land use and planning policy initiatives.
- In this pivotal role, you will drive place-based planning, coordinate amendments to planning frameworks, and foster inclusive engagement with communities and stakeholders.
This is an opportunity to make a real impact through long-term planning that balances growth, sustainability, and community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans and policies that support sustainable, liveable environments.
- Lead and manage teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
- Degree in Town Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, Science, Urban Design, Architecture or equivalent discipline.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in strategic land use planning and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
