About the Role

The Dental Prosthetist will be responsible for providing a range of dental technology services, from assisting the dentist to expert knowledge in dental prostheses construction.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, providing clinical services that meet the highest standards of quality and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide routine dental prosthetic clinical services within established clinical protocols.
  • Ensure quality control of dental laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community members.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Advanced Diploma in Dental Prosthetics or equivalent qualification.
  • Unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Dental Prosthetist.
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance.
  • Known Blood Borne Viral Status, including HIV, Hepatitis B and C, and antibody levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
  • Ability to support a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes.
  • Decisive listening, influencing, and persuasive skills.
  • Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or eligibility to apply.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Knowledge of EXACT software.
  • Willingness to obtain Influenza Vaccination and COVID-19 Vaccination.
