We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Violence Specialist Advisor to join our Mental Health and Wellbeing team at Campus Camps. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing family violence expertise and support to our Mental Health and Wellbeing Programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide family violence expertise and support to our Mental Health and Wellbeing Programs
- Develop and implement trauma-informed care approaches to support consumers who have experienced family violence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide secondary consultation and capacity building to high-risk cases
- Stay up-to-date with current legislation and policy reforms related to family violence and mental health
- Support collaboration within and between mental health programs, alcohol and other drugs services, and the local family violence sector
- Thorough understanding of trauma-informed care and experience working with consumers who have experienced family violence
- Highly developed skills in capacity building and secondary consultation
- Clear understanding of the correlation between family violence, mental health, and trauma
- Knowledge and understanding of the MARAM framework and current legislation relevant to family violence and mental health
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
