Cloud Architect Role Overview

This senior role involves designing and implementing scalable, secure systems across cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full stack development, integration, and analytics.

  • Develop innovative cloud-based solutions to meet business needs and drive transformation.
  • Evaluate complex stakeholder requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Lead the design and implementation of high-quality systems and solutions in agile development environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver cloud-based ICT solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Evaluate stakeholder requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Provide technical direction on software design patterns and development standards.
  • Deliver high-quality systems and solutions using modern DevOps practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Azure PaaS services, including Web, API & Functions Apps, Azure SQL, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in Full Stack .NET development, including C#, .NET Core 1.x to 3.x, and Microsoft Enterprise Library or equivalent.
  • Experience with modern web technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks like AngularJS, Angular, and React.
Integration and API Management
  • Deep understanding of integration patterns, SOAP/RESTful APIs, SOA frameworks, and formats like JSON and XML.
  • Hands-on experience with API security, usage policy definitions, and reusable service design.
Reporting and Analytics Domain Knowledge
  • Expertise in Business Intelligence and Reporting architectures, including Data Warehousing, Data Marts, ODS, Big Data, Analytics, and Data Science.
  • Proficient with Microsoft data and reporting tools, including Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure DataBricks, Azure Data Lake (ADL), SSIS, and SSAS.
Business Application Experience
  • Experience designing reporting solutions for CRM and Service Management platforms like Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Siebel, and ServiceNow.
Security and Identity Management
  • Solid understanding of network, security, and identity management practices within enterprise and cloud environments.
Competencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
