Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum

Job Description: We're looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in UNIX infrastructure to lead the implementation and management of our enterprise-wide UNIX systems. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our UNIX-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities: As a Senior UNIX Infrastructure Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining UNIX-based infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements;">
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and management of UNIX systems;">
  • Maintaining relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of solutions meets requirements;">
  • Providing expert-level technical support and guidance to junior staff members;">
  • Developing and delivering training programs to improve team skills and knowledge;">

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Extensive experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and IBM AIX operating systems;">
  • Expertise in creating detailed technical documentation, including as-built documents, operational handover documents, and support guides;">
  • A proven track record of collaborating with network, compute, storage, and security engineers and architects to deploy and manage components;">
  • Experience working with vendors and internal resources to ensure solution delivery meets requirements;">
  • Certification in Red Hat Certified Administrator (RHCA) or Certified Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or Oracle Solaris Administration Certification is highly regarded;">
