As a Catering Officer with the Australian Army, you will play a vital role in providing specialist catering support to the military on operations, exercises, and within specified barrack locations. The Australian Army Catering Corp (AACC) is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving nutritional meals to sustain personnel across all operational environments and threat levels.

The mission of the AACC is to provide deployable catering support to Australian Force Elements, ensuring commanders have a nutritionally sustained force. As a Catering Officer, your responsibilities will include commanding a catering platoon, providing technical catering and nutritional support advice, developing and implementing food safety and catering operational support plans, and operational logistics planning for major exercises and international engagements.

You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Army's logistics procedures, making you employable across a broad range of roles and appointments, such as operations officer, second in command, company commander, staff officer, or instructor. Upon completion of a Graduate Certificate in Human Nutrition as part of your employment, you will possess the necessary knowledge to excel in this role.

**Estimated Salary:** $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
