Financial Operations Specialist

This role is pivotal in driving financial accuracy, compliance and process efficiencies.
- Month-end financial reporting, general ledger reviews & reconciliations
- Preparation of budgets & forecasts alongside FP&A teams
- Tax compliance including BAS, FBT & payroll tax
- Managing internal & external audits
- Overseeing customer rebate & incentive accruals
- Driving process improvements & system efficiencies
- Business partnering with internal stakeholders to support commercial decision-making
- Oversight of AP & AR functions, working closely with offshore shared services
We're looking for a proactive, results-driven Senior Financial Accountant with a passion for process improvement and commercial finance.
- CPA/CA qualification
- Solid experience in a similar financial accounting role within multinational FMCG, manufacturing, or wholesale industries
- Strong technical accounting knowledge & compliance experience
- Advanced Excel skills (experience with large data sets & reconciliations)
- Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders & drive financial insights
- Experience working with high transaction volumes in a complex, commercial environment
- A 'can-do' attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving
In this dynamic environment you will have the opportunity to streamline financial processes, ensure robust internal controls and support key commercial decisions. A hybrid work model is offered after probation with parking available. Salary may vary based on industry standards but is estimated at $120K - $130K + Super + Bonus.
