About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lawyer to join our Public Sector team in Canberra. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Partner Chris Davis and our wider team to deliver high-profile procurement projects for the Commonwealth government.

Our team works on a wide range of commercial, contracting, procurement, corporate, and probity matters within the government sector. You will have the opportunity to engage with strategically important Commonwealth departments and agencies, while being supported to enhance your skillset and local profile.

About You
  • You will have at least 2-3 years' experience as a Lawyer within Government and/or a leading private practice law firm.
  • You will have experience in and an understanding of public sector procurement and contracting, preferably including experience with Department of Defence procurement.
  • You will have the ability and willingness to work with a level of independence and autonomy appropriate to your experience.
  • You will have a passion for delivering exceptional client service and building effective relationships.
  • You will have an existing Commonwealth security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
