Job Title: Pre-Construction Manager

Are you a seasoned construction professional looking to take your career to the next level? Do you have a passion for managing complex projects and driving business growth? We are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join our team at Buildability Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the upfront process until project conversion, ensuring timely and profitable delivery of projects.
  • Oversee multiple new opportunities, helping to grow the business and working closely with the senior leadership team.
  • Expand the business through the acquisition of projects via industry contacts and associations.
  • Negotiate financial terms with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive outcome for the company.
  • Supervise and direct project staff at all levels and competencies, ensuring effective project delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities.
  • Ensure reporting is completed to a high standard each month, providing valuable insights into project performance.
  • Implement company systems and procedures consistently across all projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a construction project manager role for a reputable builder on complex residential and commercial projects.
  • Estimating, Bid Management, or Front-End construction experience on projects up to $100m.
  • Proven track record in managing significant multi-projects within the residential and commercial sector.
  • Awareness of risk, contractual, and financial performance.
  • Strong leadership skills in performance management, without compromising employee commitment and cultural values.
