About the Role
This exciting opportunity is for a highly organized individual with intermediate to advanced video editing capabilities and strong communication skills. As a social media content creator, you will be responsible for managing content calendars, developing original entertainment stories, and staying ahead of industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Film, edit, and distribute engaging podcast social content across multiple platforms
  • Create captivating reels optimized for Instagram and TikTok using trending music and techniques
  • Pitch socially-led content series and ideas at daily editorial meetings
  • Manage content calendars to ensure consistent posting that maximizes engagement
  • Develop, write, and execute original entertainment stories across site and social
  • Own the Mamamia Entertainment EDM, writing introductions and curating content
  • Edit and commission quality content from internal and external writers

Requirements:
You have 2-3 years' experience in a similar social media content creator role. You understand how to create compelling content including short-form video for Instagram and TikTok. You possess intermediate to advanced video editing capabilities (Adobe Premiere, Capcut, etc.). You're highly organized with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities. You have strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
