We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct person-centered nursing care and individual case management to patients on a shift-by-shift basis in a defined clinical area with increasing autonomy over time.
Key Responsibilities- Assess individual patient needs, plan, implement, and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options, including other disciplines or agencies.
- Plan and coordinate services with other disciplines or agencies to provide individual health care needs, as well as contribute to patient safety, risk minimization, and safe work activities within the practice setting.
- Contribute to procedures for effectively dealing with people exhibiting challenging behaviors.
- You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- You will have demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- You will be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritize workloads, be creative, innovative, and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.
- You will have experience in caring for people able to connect and communicate with people with Dementia.
