Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team of experts. As a Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in the return to work process of employees with work-related injuries or illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial workplace rehabilitation needs assessments to identify and address risk factors impacting a successful return to work
  • Assess the functional capacity of employees and provide evidence-based advice on the best pathway to recovery and return to work
  • Develop and monitor rehabilitation or return to work plans, including job analysis and ergonomic assessments
  • Provide vocational assessments and advice on job modification, rehabilitation counseling, and vocational re-education or retraining
  • Collaborate with employers, employees, and other stakeholders to achieve successful return to work outcomes

Qualification Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold one of the following qualifications:

  • Occupational Therapist
  • Physiotherapist
  • Nurse
  • Rehabilitation Counsellor

Experience and Business Credentials

You must have at least 12 months' professional experience in providing workplace rehabilitation services and hold an Australian Business Number and relevant insurances, including Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.

Remuneration
