The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding junior and mid-level engineers through technical challenges, career growth, and DevOps best practices. They will act as a bridge between DevOps, development, and product teams to ensure smooth communication, clear priorities, and effective handoffs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Break down initiatives into actionable tasks, assign them based on skills and workload, and ensure timely delivery with regular check-ins.
  • Design, document, and iterate on CI/CD pipelines, incident management processes, change control, and service deployment procedures.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure using tools such as Terraform to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, configuration management, and monitoring.
  • Maintain robust monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
  • 7+ years of experience in a DevOps role;
  • Experience with team management, project planning, and a strategic mindset;
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform;
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tool: GitLab CI;
  • Scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell;
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS);
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud computing concepts;
  • Relevant certifications (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm) are a plus;
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Victoria-metrics, Grafana, Alertmanager, and ELK stack.
