At our organization, we are seeking an experienced DevOps Team Lead to drive the development and deployment of cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, with expertise in AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DocDB, KMS, VPC, and Route53.
The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding junior and mid-level engineers through technical challenges, career growth, and DevOps best practices. They will act as a bridge between DevOps, development, and product teams to ensure smooth communication, clear priorities, and effective handoffs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Break down initiatives into actionable tasks, assign them based on skills and workload, and ensure timely delivery with regular check-ins.
- Design, document, and iterate on CI/CD pipelines, incident management processes, change control, and service deployment procedures.
- Implement and manage infrastructure using tools such as Terraform to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, configuration management, and monitoring.
- Maintain robust monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
- 7+ years of experience in a DevOps role;
- Experience with team management, project planning, and a strategic mindset;
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform;
- Proficiency with CI/CD tool: GitLab CI;
- Scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell;
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS);
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud computing concepts;
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm) are a plus;
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Victoria-metrics, Grafana, Alertmanager, and ELK stack.
