Employment Coach

The Employment Coach is a key position at Workskil Australia Ltd, responsible for the case management of an allocated caseload of up to 80 customers with a prior offender history. The primary objective is to find them employment, with a focus on improving their capacity to work by stabilizing non-vocational issues and building vocational skills and experience.
The role involves case management, reverse marketing of customers to suitable employers, and running group-based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job placements. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for recruitment and working with those in need, an ability to meet individual targets, and contribute to a strong site team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, match, and refer customers to appropriate job opportunities and advocate directly to employers.
- Develop positive relationships with a diverse range of customers, employers, and staff.
- Meet individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs.
- Undertake 'reverse marketing' of customers to suitable employers.
- Run group-based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job placements.
- A minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or willingness to study if not already completed.
- Previous experience in the employment services or call centre industry or similar will be highly regarded.
- Strong administration skills and IT literacy, data entry, and typing skills, with experience in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
