About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Research Scientist to join our team at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). As a Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting scientific research and contributing to the development of new technologies and instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scientific research and experiments in the field of ultrafast spectroscopy
  • Develop and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement new research projects
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and instruments
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled on an undergraduate degree course in a physical sciences-based field
  • Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of scientific principles and concepts
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
