Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Our Services include Residential Aged Care, Home Care and Retirement Villages.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team at Murray Vale in the Riverina Murray Region. The role involves cooking and kitchen duties on weekends and requires a high standard of quality care for facility residents.

The Ideal Candidate will have experience in planning, preparing and cooking fresh meals, as well as table service and clearing duties. Experience in working in fast-paced kitchens and bulk food preparation is desirable. Knowledge of HACCP standards and Food Safety regulations is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
  • Provide exceptional customer service to facility residents
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
What You'll Bring to the Role:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP principles
