Quality Improvement Manager Role Overview

Our organization is seeking a skilled Quality Improvement Manager to lead the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives across the district.

  • Design, implement, monitor, and evaluate district-wide programs and projects aimed at enhancing patient care.
  • Provide guidance on project planning, risk management, and implementation strategies to drive measurable improvements in patient care.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in quality improvement, strategic planning, and change management within a healthcare setting. They will possess strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and collaboration.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to improve patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Recognized tertiary qualifications in a health field.
  • Extensive operational and strategic experience in the healthcare system.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, and facilitating interdisciplinary teams.
  • Sound knowledge of qualitative and quantitative evaluation strategies.
