Digital Program Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of digital programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and effective project management.
Main Responsibilities:- Establish a robust program management discipline, including tracking, reporting, risk escalation, and issue resolution.
- Develop a governance approach for key forums, audiences, agendas, and rhythms to ensure continuous alignment with stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation of actions taken and follow-ups, as well as recording key decisions made in key forums.
- Clearly define and align roles and responsibilities of the program manager and individual team members.
- Establish and govern central procurement processes and oversight.
- Oversee Communications team timesheets.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and team members to escalate project-specific issues and misalignments, and provide timely insights for decision-making.
- Develop a deep understanding of Loop project interdependencies and support understanding across teams.
- Support the team in defining and endorsing revisions of scope, timing, and budget for Loop projects.
- Develop a change management plan, including business communications, documentation, and training for field teams.
- Understand technology implications and Communications roadmap, and collaborate on future-planning of possible next technology iterations.
- Ability to understand complex program challenges and interdependencies.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive effective working sessions to facilitate decision-making and follow-through actions.
- Concise, impactful written and verbal communication.
- Experience as a Program or Portfolio Director with a strong track record delivering complex digital programs.
- Experience in major telecommunications technology rollout programs, preferably in the energy sector.
- Experience with rolling out MPLS-TP in large-scale projects, or a strong understanding of the MPLS-TP technology.
- Demonstrated capability managing projects from concept to implementation and benefits realization, including portfolio experience in budgeting, resource planning, risk management, group facilitation, and reporting.
- Skilled at balancing technical solution oversight, change impacts, and business stakeholder alignment while actively resolving delivery challenges and ensuring program momentum.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives.
- Commercially focused, with experience managing vendors and delivery partners, ensuring accountability for outcomes, strong cost control, and alignment with expected benefits.
- A relevant tertiary qualification and formal project or program management certifications is desirable.
