About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established early learning provider dedicated to fostering children's growth through play-based learning and holistic development.


Key Responsibilities
  • Program Delivery & Child Development: Design and implement stimulating educational programs aligned with the EYLF, promoting children's developmental milestones and fostering their curiosity through engaging experiences.
  • Facilitate Intentional Teaching Moments: Engage children in storytelling, music, art, and sensory exploration, observing and documenting their progress to support individual learning goals and share insights with families.
  • Daily Care & Wellbeing: Maintain impeccable hygiene standards, including nappy changing, toileting assistance, and mealtime supervision, while creating predictable routines that provide emotional security for children.
  • Social-Emotional Development: Guide children's social-emotional development by modelling positive behaviour and conflict resolution strategies, ensuring a nurturing environment for young learners.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
  • Proven 1-year minimum experience in long day care or similar setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standards.
  • Genuine passion for early childhood development with endless patience and creativity.
  • Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates as well as proof of vaccination.
  • Working with children rights.
  • Police check.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with children, colleagues, and families.
