About the Role

As a valued member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional support services to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities.

You will be responsible for providing responsive client-centred support, promoting independence, community participation, and meaningful relationships in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Interpret and respond to client communication needs, healthcare plans, and mealtime guidelines
  • Administer prescribed medication and maintain accurate records
  • Document observations and communicate changes to the team
  • Promote independence, community participation, and meaningful relationships
  • Provide Hub and In-Home supports in a client-centred manner

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Communication: Interpret and respond to client communication needs, healthcare plans, and mealtime guidelines
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medication and maintain accurate records
  • Observation and Documentation: Document observations and communicate changes to the team
  • Support Services: Provide Hub and In-Home supports in a client-centred manner
Requirements
  • Certification: Current NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check (must be completed before starting)
  • Education: Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services (or willingness to complete/enrol)
  • Training: Child Safe Environments training (Through Your Eyes) and Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module: Quality, Safety and You
  • Skills: Competency-based training in Assist Clients with Medication (HLTHPS006 or equivalent obtained within the last 6 months) and Manual Handling training (HLTWHS005 or equivalent obtained within the last 6 months)
  • First Aid: Current Senior First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
  • Licence: A current valid Driver's Licence
