Job Description

This exciting opportunity is for an In-House Legal Specialist to join one of Australia's top ASX listed property investment and funds management organisations. As a key member of the legal team, you will provide expert legal advice and solutions in a commercial context.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the negotiation and execution of all legal documentation relevant to the business, including acquisitions, commercial agreements, corporate transactions, and the establishment of new funds.
  • Manage litigation, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Establish new entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Liaise with external legal specialists to obtain additional advice where necessary.
  • Assist in reviewing and approving fundraising disclosure documentation.
  • Monitor legislative and general law developments, keeping internal clients informed of current, new, or proposed legislation affecting business activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Degree Qualified (LLB) with a current practicing certificate.
  • At least 2 years post-qualified experience from a top-tier law firm and/or in-house experience.
  • Strong legal experience in Corporate M&A, transaction, and/or funds management.
  • Possess highly polished communication skills, both verbally and in written form.
  • Enjoy collaborating with others and working effectively within a team environment.
  • Takes a strategic perspective in their work, focusing on the long-term view.
