Job Title: Trade Sales Associate

This role plays a key part in the customer experience, assisting with sales and meeting service expectations. Successful candidates will have trade or retail background expertise that they can bring to the team, enhancing our customer service delivery.

  • Primary responsibilities:
    • Operating the Point of Sale system effectively.
    • Providing excellent customer service, suggesting add-on sales to increase sales.
    • Processing and following up quotes daily.
    • Negotiating individual items and ensuring secure movement of products.
  • Key performance indicators:
    • Achieving monthly sales budget.
    • Turnaround time for first-time quotes follow-up.
    • Maintaining quote registers and Frameworks with sales opportunities daily.
    • Attending work on time and providing polite service daily.

Main Responsibilities:

To succeed in this role, you will need to operate the Point of Sale system, process quotes, negotiate individual items, ensure accurate and secure movement of products, and maintain the quote register and frameworks with sales opportunities daily. You must attend work on time and provide polite service to customers and colleagues every day.

The primary goal is to meet the monthly store or department sales target. You will also be expected to turn around first-time quotes within a reasonable timeframe and maintain accurate records of sales opportunities.

This job requires someone who is able to think on their feet, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize their workload effectively. It's an ideal position for someone looking to develop their sales and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
