About This Role

We are seeking an experienced MH-60R pilot instructor to join our team at CAE. As a key member of our defense and security business unit, you will play a critical role in helping our customers develop and maintain mission readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic instruction on MH-60R aircraft systems and operational procedures to students from the Royal Australian Navy and the Commonwealth of Australia.
  • Conduct training sessions in classroom, simulator, and practical environments, using a range of tools and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain curriculum for courses, working closely with subject matter experts and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in airworthiness boards and other quality assurance activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 500 command hours on multi-engine, multi-crew, medium helicopter (H-60) or equivalent.
  • At least two years' instructional experience in an aircrew training environment on military rotary wing platforms.
  • Completed at least one sea-going tour with the USN, RAN, or RN.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to correctly employ and instruct on MH-60R performance charts for aircraft operations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication.
