Are you looking for a challenging role in the food industry? We are seeking a highly motivated Catering Attendant to join our team at Brisbane Airport.
As a Catering Attendant, you will be responsible for working on both morning and afternoon shifts, specializing in packing and making up food trolleys (carts) and equipment for our customer airline Jetstar. Your duties will include safely handling, cleaning, counting, sorting, and packing items such as glassware, dishes, cutlery, napkins, and other sundry items.
You will also be responsible for accurately performing all tasks and duties assigned in a timely manner, safely using machinery once trained, and thoroughly understanding and following quality control techniques to ensure customer specifications are met per flight briefing sheets.
In addition, you will identify opportunities to improve performance and productivity in your work areas, raise any discrepancies in stock take if any items are missing, demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, and ensure that all documentation is completed per specification, customer, and flight.
