About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Pastry Demi Chef to join our kitchen team at Infinity in Sydney Tower. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled pastry professional to be part of a new venue offering modern fine dining with breathtaking views of the city.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a leadership role in a professional environment, with a strong background in pastry production and presentation. They will be able to work 5 days per week on a rotating roster and have a passion for creating delicious desserts and modern pastries.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a leadership role in a professional environment
  • Able to work 5 days per week on a rotating roster
  • Loves desserts and modern pastry
  • Have worked in a high volume à la carte restaurant with similar standards focused on quality food production
  • Be a positive leader with the ability to lead by example
  • Must have qualifications or trade experience equivalent
  • Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation
  • A strong understanding of food and labour cost controls
  • Have a sound knowledge of OH&S, HACCP, Par levels, stock control, ordering and stock taking

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum + superannuation and other benefits
