Respiratory Nurse Specialist Role

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse in the Chest Clinic. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with respiratory conditions, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care to ensure the best possible health outcomes.
">- You will work closely with the Respiratory / TB Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide clinic support for the TB population on the Central Coast.
- You will provide direct care to patients with respiratory conditions, performing nursing interventions in alignment with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's standards of practice.
- Responsibilities will include supervising and mentoring other nursing staff, such as Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs), to ensure that quality care is provided throughout the clinic.
- You will maintain accurate and timely patient records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
About You
- You have a current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Recent respiratory experience would be desirable.
- You have strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
- You have excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload.
