About the Position:
Harrison McMillan is in search of a committed and proactive People and Culture Advisor to enhance our People and Culture team. Reporting directly to the HR Advisory Manager, this position is vital in delivering efficient and effective HR advisory services within a vibrant operational and shared-service setting. You will be instrumental in overseeing HR operational issues, assisting leaders and employees, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives within the HR Advisory function.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt HR guidance and assistance on a range of HR policies, processes, and protocols to leaders and staff.
- Actively address feedback and concerns, managing or escalating issues as necessary.
- Oversee or assist with HR and ER/IR matters, including conducting investigations and facilitating change management activities.
- Coordinate and execute HR projects, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR operations.
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to support portfolio activities and broader projects.
Key Competencies:
- Familiarity with contemporary HR practices
- Understanding of awards, industrial legislation, and employee relations
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office and SAP
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical thinking
- Stakeholder engagement
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field and/or relevant experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Willingness to work outside standard hours and travel as necessary.
